Whidbey Island

This has been a big week.
I graduated college, my mom turned sixty, my dog turned one, and I spent a lovely weekend on Whidbey Island.
What could be better then puppies, grandpas, ferry rides, and hummus? not much I'd say.

outrageous.

Raymond Oyler sure is messed up for setting the California fires in 2006. Okay, so five firefighters were killed while trying to stop the mess, that is horrible. While he may have meant to, "set havoc in this country by setting fires of his own design, for his own purpose," our legal system sure is scary if that means imposing the DEATH SENTENCE. This is said to be the first case where the death penalty has been imposed on an arsonist. Maybe, Judge Charles Morgan, there was a reason no judge had ever before been as stupid as you.
When I heard about this at breakfast this morning I nearly lost my appetite. I continue to be shocked by our judicial abilities and hope Mr. Oyler has some good attorneys. I mean, death!? come on.

I wish I were an astronomer.

Lacking "Natural World" credits to graduate, I have enrolled in Astronomy 101 and Nutrition 101 to avoid science as much as possible and get a good, easy grade.
However! Along the way I have discovered there is actually an interesting world outside international politics, civil rights, and cute fluffy animals. It's the world of BLACK HOLES and crazy time abstractions in space!
What I've learned is that black holes are REAL and not just found in hitchhikers guide. This is so amazing, and if I wasn't a week away from graduating I'd become an astronomer.

boring.

Sleep, work, eat, study, repeat.
My life is boring and needs to change, asap.
